Hi Guys,
Please take note of the important dates in the minutes.
Also, PLEASE make sure that all your member's details are updated on the National Database.
If they are not included here, they may not vote.
If they have't paid their fees, they may not vote.

Thank you Philip for these minutes.

On point 4:
The minutes are noted to be adopted as they were posted on the forum. I only see minutes for 16/07 last posted on the forum. Has there been no meetings between Jan 2010 and then, or are these the minutes referred to?

On point 6;
The database which needs to be checked, is this the database of members listed on this forum under MEMBERS?

General;
Note 1 - There was no mention of the meeting of the National Federation of Tourist Guides on the 29th and 30th of this month. Is the 4WDGA sending a delegation to represent us and assure the inclusion of 4WDG's and the interest of off road guides into the National representative body for guides? Is the National committee informed and involved in this important initiative?
Note 2 - There was no mention of the Governments initiative "Professionalisation of Tourist Guiding" and the meetings that have been held around this including the amendment of the Tourism Act. Is the Association informed and involved in representing us at this negotiating table and what is happening in that arena?

To the Committee!

Now that Nationalisation has taken place, HOW do you want the transfer of information to take place, as 19 Gautengers on the database is POOR! I have plentsh more!

Then, I don't agree with a smaller sticker - the current one is so small already - scared to be noted? But you have decided.

At what stage will the regions receive their 50% - monthly, quarterly or what?

Plse advise VIA EMAIL, so that I can send the details, and expect SHARP response on invoices for renewal, as the people here want to know what is happening....

I am in Cape Town from Monday 9pm until Friday - busy during the day....

Regards

We are a non racial - non political organisation, stipulated in our constitution and enforsed by the National Guides code of conduct which every registered guide has signed. Please reflect that in this forum which is an international window that represents me every time I advertise that I am a member of this association.

Admin note:

Chris -

I did not see anything wrong with Allen's/Erika post - I did removed some of the words.
